Confirmation is a sacrament of Initiation. For Catholics confirmation is a sign of outpouring of the Holy Spirit. This sacrament enables a baptized person to grow into a spiritual adult. During Confirmation, a bishop or priest, puts holy oil, known as chrism, on their forehead and confirms them. Also in Confirmation, there are 7 Fruits and Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
